Store violin strings for a long time? ヴァイオリン弦の長期保存法？

The news of the PIRASTRO’s violin string price hike came as a shock to musicians in Japan.

I bought spare strings for about two years, but I didn’t want my strings to deteriorate while in storage.

I was trying to figure out how to make the strings last longer. The biggest concern is rust.

A friend of mine gave me the idea of vacuum packing the strings. Maybe it will work?🧐
